Working time: 8 days from 7-19 then 4 days off
Job description: General electrical installation work of various types in a data center, including the
installation of electrical equipment and high- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
Work also involves the construction of an office building and backup power systems.
Regarding high voltage systems, It’s limited to general installation, no terminations and
commissioning. This will all be done under the supervision of HW-specialized personnel.
Applicants must provide documents so they can be so they can go through the process of being
certified in Iceland as qualified electricians.
On the days off client will provide shared car and free single rooms in residential housing in different
towns in Iceland, ie Akranes, Borgarnes and Reykjavík.
The Project is mostly is install cables, light switchers, lights and more as appropriate
Diploma: Electrician Diploma from technical school (length of studies at least 3 years)
Experience: From similar
Accommodation rented from Elja: Free single room
Transport: Free car and fuel
Clothing: Work clothing and PPE (personal protective equipment)) will be provided by user
company according to Icelandic regulation.
Meals during work hours: Free lunch and coffee
Tools: All tools and equipment that are needed for the job are provided by the user company. Elja
doesn´t therefore pay tool compensation/tool salary on top of salary.
Language: B1 – Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters
regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.

Drivers license Needed: Yes, for driving regular passenger car, category B

Salary: 6700 € net, after all deductions
