Job position: Masonry work for exterior and interior repairs

Work will take place: Akureyri
Working time: 8-17 Monday to Friday
Job description: Skilled mason workers for exterior and interior masonry repairs, as well as general
masonry work and tile installation.
The main focus is exterior masonry repairs, including skim coating, grinding/sanding, and also
assisting with concrete work when needed.
The work is varied and includes a wide range of masonry tasks.

Accommodation rented from Elja: Accomodation provided by user company-single room
Transport: Client will provide pick up and drop off for free
Clothing: Work clothing and PPE (personal protective equipment)) will be provided by user
company according to Icelandic regulation.
Meals during work hours: Employees are responsible for their own meals. In some cases,
employees, can buy meals from user company or user company provide meals. All such
arrangement is between employee and user company. Elja can assist employees if they want to take
part in such arrangement.
Tools: All tools and equipment that are needed for the job are provided by the user company. Elja
doesn´t therefore pay tool compensation/tool salary on top of salary.
Language: B1 – Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters
regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
Criminal record needed: Yes
Drivers license Needed: Yes, for driving regular passenger car, category B
Heavy Machinery Rights: –

Salary: 3750 € net, after all deductions
