As a CE Truck Driver – Hook arm, you will join Van Happen’s largest driving team and play a vital role in transporting containers across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Your responsibilities include:
Transporting various containers with the hook-lift system.
Loading and unloading containers using the hook-lift mechanism.
Securing loads safely and carrying out safety checks.
Exchanging full and empty containers on longer routes.
You may work in different arrangements:
Day shifts: Start and end at the depot daily and sleep at home.
Shift work: Alternating between day and night.
Overnight stays: Begin the week in your truck (e.g., Monday) and return later (e.g., Friday).
Requirements:
Mandatory: CE driving license, valid Code 95, and driver’s card.
Experience: At least 2 years in a similar position; hook-lift experience is mandatory.
Experience with molenstel, triangel, or schamel is useful (training can be provided).
Good physical condition for physically demanding work.
Flexible, social, punctual, hands-on, and willing to sleep in the truck.
Working Conditions
Driving containers in the BENELUX and Germany.
Monday to Friday on the road, staying overnight in the truck.
Weekend accommodation provided by the agency (housing costs €135 per weekend).
Shoes provided by the agency; working clothes provided by Van Happen company.
Private transport preferred; (E)Bike available where possible.
